When walking past a needles eye nowadays make sure to look both ways for Camels running through it

So I figure there's (53 players that dress on game day + 32 owners +coaches + physicians + practice squad players + trainers + the members of teams that are behind the scenes we don't know about etc so lets say about 200 people on each team) x ( 32 teams)= 6400 + ex players on pensions etc so ill even give you about 10 000 people.

That's the number I have approximated as the National Football League inner circle. That's the number of people who if the NFL's revenue was a Pie would walk away with a piece each season. Then I looked at more numbers. The NFL has an annual revenue of $5 billion and has an 8 year TV contract for $17.6 billion so in the next 8 years it would make

($5billion) x ( 8 ) + $17.6 billion = $57.6 billion dollars.

Well then I thought fine that seems like a lot of money but is there anything I can put that in perspective to. Then I read this.

Almost half the world — over three billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day.

The NFL today consists of about 10 000 people who are arguing about how to split what amounts to about $7billion dollars a year between themselves.

Where did WE go wrong.
